Job Description :

We are currently seeking a 

DIE SETTER

for a local manufacturing facility located in SAINT MARYS, OHIO  



RESPONSIBILITIES:

The die setter is responsible for reading and understanding blueprints and changing over dies and fixtures in equipment. They may also perform other duties, such as:

 



  • Setting up presses: Set up presses of various sizes and choose the appropriate fixtures for each job.  

  • Loading materials: Load coils of sheet metal onto the presses.  

  • Adjusting dies: Adjust dies at set ups and check accuracy during production. 

  • Operating presses: Configure, adjust, and operate automatic or semi-automatic presses.  

  • Quality assurance: Conduct quality assurance tests using precision measuring tools.  

  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues with equipment.  

  • Maintaining a clean workspace: Maintain a clean and safe workspace.


 

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS POSITION:



  • Monday-Friday - 2nd shift

  • $25/hr (includes shift differential)

  • OT available--currently working 48 hr week

  • Weekly pay
