We are seeking a dedicated Grinder to join our foundry team. This position involves sitting for extended periods while grinding metal parts to ensure quality and precision. The work is repetitive and takes place in a dusty environment, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing a fitted helmet and respirator.

Responsibilities:

• Operate grinding tools to remove excess material, smooth surfaces, and meet product specifications.


• Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality and consistency.


• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a fitted helmet and respirator, at all times.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area.


• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risk in a dusty environment.


• Work efficiently to meet production goals and quality standards.


• Be available for mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.


• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.


• Comfortable working in a dusty environment while wearing PPE.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.


• Dependable and able to work overtime as required.
