Job Description :
We are currently seeking
LOW VOLTAGE INSTALLERS--1ST SHIFT
for a local SIDNEY, OH company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems, including security systems, access control, CCTV, audio/video, and data cabling. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring and equipment, including security cameras, access control systems, fire alarms, and telecommunications systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations.
- Run, terminate, and label structured cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, coaxial, etc.).
- Mount and configure devices such as cameras, speakers, alarms, and networking hardware.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as needed.
- Work closely with project managers, electricians, and other team members to complete installations on time and within budget.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.

- $18.00/hour

Required Qualifications :
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in low-voltage installation, cabling, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles and low-voltage wiring techniques.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and lift up to [X] lbs.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
- BICSI, NICET, or other industry certifications are a plus.
