Job Description :
 We are currently seeking a

3rd SHIFT MACHINE OPERATOR

for a family owned manufacturing company located in TROY, OH.



 

 JOB OVERVIEW:

 

The primary purpose of this position is to operate a machine at production standards while meeting quality and safety standards in the manufacturing of coated and nonwoven abrasives.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



• Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders
• Pull correct material and fill out proper paper work
• Setting up and operating machinery
• Must be able to lift 20 – 50 pounds depending on position.
• Utilizes material to eliminate excess scrap and waste
• Reports any material, or machine problems to supervisor.
• Maintains a clean safe, and organized work area at the end of each shift
• Responsible for cleaning and organizing your area
• Work well in a team environment


 


 


HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POSITION:



  • 3rd shift 

  • SUNDAY - THURSDAY 

  • 10:00pm-6:30am

  • $16/hr ($640.00/wk based on 40 hrs and before taxes)

  • PAID WEEKLY

Required Qualifications :

SKILLS:



• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prefer a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition and subtraction, and to multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to use and read a tape measure
