Job Description :
We are currently seeking

1st SHIFT OFFLINE PRESS OPERATORS (DP)

for a local SIDNEY, OH manufacturing company

 



Job description: 





  • Startup, operation, shutdown and maintenance of press machine.

  • Select nozzles for particular material being processed.

  • Load programs and set machine parameters to achieve best performance.

  • Operate forklift.

  • Operate gantry and jib crane.

  • Load / install cutting fixtures onto machine. Also, uninstall and unload store fixtures.

  • Troubleshoot and identify machine problems.

  • Perform first, last and periodical checks on parts and complete associated quality documents.

  • Follow routers, schedules and work instructions.

  • Communicate machine / quality issues to maintenance and quality to support personnel.

  • Other duties as assigned.


 HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS POSITION:



  • 1st shift -- Monday-Friday with potential for lots of overtime (6 day work week)

  • $16.50/hour base pay ($660/wk before taxes)

Required Qualifications :

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • High school level reading and writing skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and dexterity

  • Tow motor/lift truck license

  • Basic math

  • Basic hand tools

  • Oral and written communication skills

  • 1-year related Press Operating experience

  • Ability to read, interpret, and create blueprints and schematics

  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

  • Measuring, cutting, or working on items with great accuracy
