Responsible for the understanding and working knowledge of internal systems and databases.

Enter orders to include, but not limited to, new orders, refills, billing/processing.

Appropriately manage workflow and adjust as needed based on priority and daily assignments

As permitted by regulation, and under the supervision of the pharmacist, assist with follow-up, troubleshooting, problem solving and clarifications

Assists with answering incoming calls including, but not limited to, assisting with customer questions/requests, directing customers to appropriate staff, and assisting facility staff with ordering 

Answer the telephone when needed to respond to customer needs and requests

• High School graduate or equivalent required


• Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Must have a high degree of customer service focus and problem-solving ability


• Comprehensive computer knowledge and skills required


• Strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills, ability to problem solve and prioritize


• Math skills with an emphasis on calculations as well as analytical skills required. Basic medical records understanding desired.
