We are currently recruiting for
JUNIOR TOOLMAKERS
in the ST MARYS, OH area
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist senior toolmaker int he building of single hit, progressive, transfer tools, equipment and production gages.
- Assist senior toolmakers in the building of jigs.
- Assist senior toolmakers in the building of fixtures.
- Assist senior toolmakers in the building of special machinery as necessary.
- Perform first piece approval of tools and special machinery.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Remain alert for an entire shift.
- Have good finger and hand dexterity.
- Perform repetitive tasks.
- Purchase & maintain personal tools.
- Report to toolroom manager.
- Assist senior toolmakers int he de-bugging of tools and special machinery.
- Programs CNC Equipment (mills, EDMs, etc.)
- Maintain tooling and special machinery as necessary.
- Attend and support all meetings and functions necessary to support the operations of the company.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS POSITION:
- 2nd shift with overtime

Required Qualifications :
REQUIREMENTS:
Complete apprentice program approved by Omni Mfg or have 5 years of toolroom/related experience.
